Members can sign up as a volunteer, Event Host, Club Sponsor, or Board Member.

General Volunteer

We appreciate those that “just want to help,” and we have a place for you in the Village! Let us know of your skills and/or resources so we can plug you based on your skillsets and tasks you enjoy and are passionate about.

Members can sign up to be a general volunteer once they become a member. Volunteers offer organizational support in a number of ways including, but not limited to, event management / execution, administrative tasks, logistics and security.

Event Host

To become an Event Host a member must be an active member for at least 90 days, participate in at least 7 events/activities, be in financial good standing with the DSC, and have no violations of the code of conduct in the current calendar year to be eligible.

After sign up, interested members must complete an onboarding process, and provide an Event Host Attestation form which acknowledges their understanding of the requirements and expectations of an Event Host and an attestation to demonstrate, uphold, and enforce the code of conduct as a representative of the DSC. The Event Host Attestation is valid for the current calendar year and must be renewed annually.

Club Sponsor

A club sponsor is an active Event Host who volunteers to oversee the club activities for the social calendar year and serve as the liaison between the members and the Management Team. A member must be active, and in good standing, and has hosted at least 3 social calendar events to be eligible to be a Club Sponsor.

Board of Directors: The Board of Directors is composed of elected members and includes the Chairperson, Co-Chairperson, Executive Director, Treasurer, Administrator, Independent Directors, Committee Chairs, and Advisory board members. The BOD serves as the final authority for organizational decisions, provides oversight, enforces the organizational policies and bylaws, and manages membership suspensions, membership and organizational infractions.

To join, members must meet the following criteria:

  • Recruitment: Members are recruited directly by the Board or DSC members can apply after one year of membership with no infractions.

  • Onboarding: Board members are subject to the same membership onboarding process and receive complimentary membership for the duration of their tenure.
