The Management Team is responsible for event management, membership engagement, planning and execution of the social calendar, and the day-to-day operations of the Village. The team meets at least weekly regarding matters including, but not limited to, strategic planning, social calendar management , membership related matters and general oversight.
These volunteer or volunteer-to-hire positions report to the Social Director, are located in the metropolitan Atlanta area, and range from $20/hr- $25/hr based on experience.
Join our team as a volunteer to directly path your way into a paid staff role. We actively prioritize the transition of these volunteers into permanent, paid positions as our social club expands.
We appreciate those that “just want to help,” and we have a place in the Village for you too! We plug our volunteers in by their skillsets and tasks they enjoy and are passionate about. However, the Management Team are qualified paid candidates, hired based on specific requirements.
events manager
The Events Manager is responsible for planning and executing larger scale and more complex events on the social calendar, as well as the Management Team and Board of Directors.
Plans and executes complex social club events including, but not limited to event design, budget & expense tracking, vendor management, and content creation.
Creates original entertainment, games, and/or activities for monthly membership socials.
Serves as Event Host and provides event support for other DSC events if necessary.
Activities Manager
The Activities Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and management of the DSC hobbies, clubs, and intramural sports.
Planning and execution of social club sanctioned activities including, but not limited to event design, budget & expense tracking, event management, and content creation.
Oversight of Event Hosts and club sponsors to ensure coverage at all DSC events, assist with backfilling as needed, and onboarding interested members.
Serve as Event Host and provide event support for other DSC events if necessary.
Finance Manager
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Oversee financial operations and general bookkeeping including managing membership dues and late payments, expense management for events and activities, and annual budget development.
Performs operational and financial analysis to support strategic planning and reporting.
Produces Board and Management financial and operational reporting
Administrator
The Administrator is responsible for management and execution of the key administrative functions, to ensure organizational processes run smoothly.
Processes incoming applications and new member onboarding
Drafts and publishes the monthly membership newsletter
Maintains the social calendar and keeps the website and marketing materials updated.
Administrative support such as research, coordination, scheduling, and ordering, for the Management team.
